Morning Annoucements 4/3/13

Swing Choir members – If you haven’t already done it, please go to the choir room to talk to Ms. Smurthwaite about solo & ensemble scheduling conflicts. Please so this today!

Swing choir auditions for all current choir members are being held this week from 11:20 to 12:00pm and from 2:00pm to 3;30pm. Sign-ups are by the choir room door or just come by. There is also an open call fro any boy who is interested in singing as well.

Many scholarships have come and gone. Seniors, don’t miss out. Come to the CRC office and see what scholarships you might qualify for!

Seniors, please report and monies offered to you through scholarships or grants to Mrs. Lauwers in the CRC office.

The Hathhorn Scholarship for $10,000 deadline has been extended until Friday, April 5th. This scholarship will be awarded to a Dimond graduate who is interested in engineering , photography or journalism. You must have a scholarship folder and provide a copy. Come to the CRC office for details.

Juniors and Seniors, if you are interested in going on a Construction field trip to Palmer on April 17th, please sign up in the CRC office. There is a limited number of spaces so it will be first come first serve.

Are you training for the Gold Nugget or another triathlon? Then you’re in luck. Dimond is now offering free training through the Flake Triathlon Club led by two medaling triathletes. this club meets in the JROTC hall during April starting on the 8th every monday from 4:15 to 4:50 on Monday and Tuesdays. Come prepared to run.

Anyone interested in Boys or Girls State. there are applications in the CRC office. The deadline to turn them in is April 16th to the CRC office.

Anyone interested in taking the last ASVAB test on April 11th, sign up in the CRC office.
