Morning Announcements 12/10/12

If you need help in one or more classes or want a place to study with friends come to NHS tutoring in MPR1 Monday and Tuesday after school from 2-4 pm.

 

Anyone interested in applying to UAA, there will be a UAA representative here on December 11th at 11:00am. She will allow you to fill out your UAA application online FREE! Only on this day and only with her! This will save you $50.00! Please sign up in the CRC office if you are interested.

 

Come and buy your friends candy grams! During both lunches on Monday and Tuesday!

 

Got the winter chills? We have  a remedy . Native Culture Club is selling Holiday Hot Chocolate during 2nd lunch in the student commons. Treat yourself!

 

FluMist Vaccine permission forms are still being accepted in the nurse’s office. Please come by and pick up a permission form in the nurse office, or go to the Dimond High website to access one today. Permission forms will be accepted all this week, and vaccine administration will be on 12/17 and 12/18.

 

The following students won awards at last weekend’s Drama, Debate, and Forensics Tournament at Eagle River:

-Eugene Shestakov- 1st place in the Original Oratory, 6th in Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking

-Alexander Peterson- 2nd in Extemporaneous Commentary

-Kyle Cordell- 6th in Extemporaneous Commentary, 3rd in Lincoln-Douglas Debate

-Karl Rodvik- 4th in Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking

 

Congratulations to Dimond’s Freshman Robotics Team 2B7G for winning this weekend’s Robotics Competition.

 

The beginning and intermediate Guitar Recital is tonight from 7 to 8 pm. The recital is free and open to the public. Please come support your friends, see you there!
