Morning Announcements 9/13/12

Dimond’s Days of Caring is on until Friday. Please bring in canned food or other non perishables into a collection box.

Ms. Wiley, Gifted Mentorship coordinator, is in the library today during lunch.

ATTENTION! Athletic council members. We will have our first meeting Athletic Council meeting on Thursday at Lunch in Navarre’s room G108. We will be electing officers. There will be food provided. Please let Navarre or Melican know if you cannot attend.

Applications for gifted mentorship are due September 21st. turn in complete application to Ms. Wiley’s mailbox in the curriculum office.

Seniors that want to retake the WorkKeys test can sign up in the CRC. The test will help qualify students that want to attend a vocational school to qualify fot he Alaska Performance Scholarship.

Native Culture Club will meet during 2nd lunch on Thursday, September 13th in the Indian Education office, located across from A106.

The Alaska Association of Asian Cultural Learning is looking for hard-work and trustworthy volunteers 16 and up for Senshi Con 2012 on September 29th and 30th. If  you would like to earn some volunteer hours please contact JROTC for more details.

For all students interested in joining Mu-Alpha-Theta, there will be a meeting this Friday in room B203 during 2nd lunch. See Mr. Stark if you have questions.

If you are interested in taking the ASVAB test on Oct. 11th please sign up in the CRC office.

We will have a few college representatives in next week. Claremont McKenna College and the University of Portland will be here on Monday Sept. 17th. Please sign up in the CRC office if you are interested.

The annual JROTC car wash fundraiser will happen this Saturday Sep. 15th from 9am-4pm at Moose Lodge of Arctic and Tudor. $5.oo per car. Donatins are welcome.

Talent show auditions are coming up fast! Sign up for your time on the band room door F105. There are limited spots so sign up soon.

Rehearsal for Cinderella today Sept. 13th will be principles only. Cinderella, prince, King, Queen, Stepmother, God Mother, Portia and Joy. Meet on the stage at 3:00pm.
